- I am always looking for more yarn....whether I need it or not. I learned to knit at 6 years of age, after arguing with my mother that I could! I've enjoyed making lap robes for those in our local Veterans' hospital, along with many items made for the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. Right now my focus (because I can't seem to do it all) is on working with fellow Christians to create prayer/comfort shawls for people who are ill or in some way in need of comfort.

second, i sure do miss chatting with you on the j&k blog...i just can't go there right now, too much yuckiness (great women, just too caddy for me)! however, i am starting to see the "light" with kate! i did before, i just see a brighter one now...what a crazy she can be!
third, i JUST saw your comment on my blog from BACK in december!!! i need an alert or something when someone leaves a comment, sometimes i miss a few. your comment was soooo sweet, jan, and lifted my spirits even if i did read it two months late :)
