Driving off to high school for his senior year |
They were visiting from Philadelphia, where he was born; and I took him outside in the back yard to get him to walk barefoot on the lawn.
When he leaves for college next Fall, I'll remind him that it was a special day at my house when he first walked by himself.
Every year, I see him and now his two siblings off to school. I wave and say "Angels...go with him!"
